Usage & Compatibility

Important: The Alpha™ tent is designed to open to the passenger side ONLY.

  • Rack Requirement: Your vehicle's roof rack system must have a dynamic weight capacity that meets or exceeds the tent's weight (176 lbs).
  • Crossbar Compatibility: Included mounting brackets fit crossbars up to 3.25" wide.
  • Lifting: Mounting the tent requires a minimum of two people for safe lifting.
Maintenance & Care

The ABS shell is protected by a clear coat. To maintain its appearance and protective qualities, regular care is essential.

  • Hand wash and apply automotive wax to the shell regularly to protect it from UV rays and road debris.
  • Immediately clean off bird droppings, bug splatter, and tree sap to prevent damage to the clear coat.
  • If you live in a coastal or salty climate, rinse the shell frequently to prevent corrosion.
  • Park in a garage or shade when possible to lengthen the lifespan of the clear coat.
