Usage & Compatibility

Important: The ALPHA II tent is designed to open to the passenger side ONLY.

  • Rack Requirement: Your vehicle's roof rack must have a dynamic weight capacity of at least 190 lbs.
  • Crossbar Compatibility: Included brackets fit crossbars up to 3.25" wide.
  • Crossbar Spread: Crossbars should be at least 30" apart for proper support.
  • Vehicle Fitment: Ideal for smaller SUVs, Crossovers, and trucks with bed racks. Not recommended for installation directly on a truck cab roof.
Maintenance & Care

The ABS shell is protected by a clear coat. To maintain its look and protective qualities, regular care is recommended.

  • Wash and wax the shell regularly to protect it from UV rays and road debris.
  • Clean off bird droppings, bug splatter, and tree sap immediately to prevent damage to the clear coat.
  • If you live in a coastal or salty climate, rinse the shell frequently to prevent corrosion.
